It appears that the eject button works like one would find on the front of a dvd player with a tray.
allow eject of cdrom using eject button
The following setting in \etc\sysctl.conf will make it work
# allow eject of cdrom using eject button
dev.cdrom.lock=0

Barclays / VISA adopt RFID contactless technology. Personally I can see this being one major security issue, even with the maximum spend of £10-£15.
I wonder whether you can read the RFID chip and extract the with Feig HF reader and OBID. I wonder what encryption level they are implementing IMHO this could be easily cloned
